在英语中,将地址转换为十六进制,但如果第 i 位是一个字母 (比如它是 abcde 中的一个),如果小写十六进制地址的哈希值的第 4*i 位为 1 ,则用大写打印,否则用小写打印。

# 基本原理

好处:

  • 向后兼容许多接受混合大小写的十六进制解析器,允许它随着时间的推移很容易引入
  • 保持长度为 40 个字符
  • 平均每个地址将有 15 个检查位,并且一个随机生成的地址如果键入错误将意外通过检查的净概率是 0.0247%。与 ICAP 相比,这是大约 50 倍的改进,但不如 4 字节的检查代码好。
